One of my favorite things about using the February SheetLoad template by Crafty Al is how versatile it is. After finishing my Valentine’s cards, I immediately knew I wanted to create a second set — this time with birthdays in mind!

Colorful handmade birthday cards with "Happy Happy Birthday" text on a wood background. Vibrant patterns and Hive & Hue Studio logo visible.

For these cards, I reached into my stash again and pulled out an American Crafts 12x12 Everyday Paper Pad. The patterns in this pad are perfect for year-round celebrations — bright, cheerful, and easy to mix and match. (You can check out the paper pads here.)

For the sentiment, I used the Birthday sentiment from the Concord & 9th Spring Print Sentiments Stamp Set. I love how bold and clean the font is — it really pops against the patterned paper and keeps the design feeling fresh and modern.

Using the same SheetLoad layout but completely different papers and sentiments really shows how adaptable the template is. It’s such a great reminder that you don’t need brand-new supplies to create something that feels totally different. Just swap out your theme, papers, and sentiment, and you’ve got a whole new batch of cards ready to go!

If you’re looking to build up your birthday stash, this is such an efficient (and fun!) way to do it.
